Had a problem at a hotel, does this sound sketchy to you? how could i be accused of this?

They definitely took advantage of the situation to make more money. The only thing I can think is to get your father involved in the situation and contact the regional headquarters about the treatment you received from the hotel. The hotel has to have camera's in the halls so it should be easy to prove no one was knocking on your door and you can also prove no one complained to the front about you because I'm sure there are camera's there too. You should fight this because this is very unfair.
