Why do I hear voices in from my head?

I HEAR him around me from my head out loud in person. Like when I was home alone. I heard yelling and some guy calling my name. l heard the voice calling me from the other side of the door and no one was there. And then I thought it was in the apartment. I was hearing things coming from the other rooms and I was alone. It isn't the first time. I have waken up to that same voice calling me in my ear and breathing down my neck for example. Its like one of those voices in your head that is made up. like when you read these words and you hear it in your head. except the voice is heard in person out loud. and you don't control it. I have waken up to my grandma's voice calling my name. and I got up and went to her where she was SLEEPING and snoring. I was about six.
