Strawberries growing in Winter?

Where I am, it is Winter now, and I have strawberries growing. Like, some of them are flowers, and others have lost their petals and their berries are growing! Also I keep seeing Monarch butterflies flying around! Is this normal?!?! I had strawberries growing in the Spring/Summer and then Autumn started and they stopped and I thought that was normal because it's getting colder, but then they started to produce another lot of strawberries! A lady at my photography course also said that her strawberries were growing and was wondering why and I'm like OMG MINE TO THIS ISN'T NORMAL.
