Who was the most unpopular British Monarch and why?

If you are asking a British monarch, then it would be Edward VIII for being the first and so far the only monarch in the history of UK to abdicate. And if you are asking an English one, I think it was George I (actually a German) because he was not able to speak English on the grounds that he was the king of England so obviously he could not feel how to be English as he could not even know how to do the basic way of communication, that is, to speak to the people.
